Crowdsourcing is about handing over power to 'the many' from 'the few'
Crowdsourcing involves conferences between multiple people in order to provide a
variety of opinions and ideas and have them feed off of each other.
Crowds are at their most effective when there are a variety of people involved.
Groups can accomplish a wide variety of goals one may not
otherwise think of.
Crowds can benefit by increasing morale, as opposed to a solitary worker.
This diagram showcases some of the aspects of the thought process involved in crowdsourcing.
A visual demonstration of the creative problem-solving process.
This diagram showcases some more variations on the thought process involved in crowdsourcing.
Crowds can get emotional and out of control in some situations.
On the other hand, when organized properly, crowds can end up doing great things
that would not be as easy to do as individuals.
Wikipedia is a stellar example
of what crowdsourcing is
capable of achieving.
Historically, groups of people have rallied together, shared ideas, and helped 'the many' bring pressure onto 'the few'
that make decisions.
Occasionally, without a balanced group of ideas and opinions, groups can become radical in their actions and ideals.
The more people that are involved, the more potential a group has to accomplish things, however, organization
becomes harder.
Rampaging, raging crowds.
As shown by Lemmings, crowds don't always make
the best decisions...
Collective Consciousness through assimilation. The morality is no more.
